Shawn Mendes is amazing. Hailee Steinfeld is amazing. Both of them together are absolute magic. The song of the month is Hailee and Shawn's cover of Stitches. I absolutely love how their voices sound together.
The only thing that missing from the music video is the connection between them, but the great thing about downloading the song is that I can hear the connection even though I don't see it in the mv. To be honest, I didn't listen to the original version of the song until a couple weeks ago. I honestly like the cover more than the original, mostly because it has a softer tone to it.

Labor day weekend just passed in the US and of course there were sales everywhere. I have been in a shopping funk since around Christmas last year so I was pretty excited when I finally bought stuff.
Let's start off with the clothes.
I bought a shirt from Zara. I feel so professional in this shirt because the only "professional" shirts I have are button-down.
I bought this bralette from American Eagle. I actually returned it and got one in black because I got the wrong size and they didn't have my size in white. It's not itchy which is definitely a plus.
I bought this dress from Forever 21. I bought it for my Halloween costume. When I tried it on, it was extremely comfortable and the skater shape is really flattering.
On to the shoes.
I bought these brown boots from DSW Warehouse. They're really comfortable which I'm happy about and they're neutral so it'll be easy to pair with outfits in the fall and winter. I'm really excited to wear them.
I bought these shoes from H&M. There was another pair that I was contemplating on buying that was suede and the tip of the boots were pointed, but I bought these ones because they were more comfortable.
Accessories.
I bought this scarf which is HEAVEN. It's so soft and warm, I love it. Oh, I got it from Zara.
Overall, it was a successful shopping day.
OH! I forgot, I also bought a skirt from American Eagle. It's one size too big, but I can fix it.

I realized that I never post monthly goals.
So, my first goal is to finish the story I've been working on. It's a rough draft and stopped writing for a couple months. I've been working on it for about a year now (including the months I took off) and I really want to finish it so I can go through and edit the whole thing. I have a couple more chapters left so it shouldn't be hard to complete.
My second goal is to get a storage bench and clean out my bookshelves. I have three bookshelves in my room, two 5-shelves and one 3-shelves. One on my 5-shelves is now broken so I have a lot of stuff in a corner of my room and I just want to clean it up.
My third goal is to finish watching The Office. My friend really wanted me to watch in and I'm now on season six. I'm almost done, but I want to finish it this month.
My fourth and last goal is to improve the blog. I want to make a header and add some color. I'll need some help doing that seeing as I'm terrible at HTML, but I'll find a way.
