So, for about four years I had acne problems and with acne comes scars. After some time, my acne got much better, my scars started fading, and about two years ago my face cleared up. All of a sudden, I broke out and got some lovely scars again. I dealt with it, but now I'm kind of annoyed that they won't go away. I've tried many different products and none of them have really worked. I went to The Body Shop and the sales associate recommended the Drops of Youth Bouncy Sleeping Mask.
She told me that I should start seeing results in about two weeks because that how long it took for her scars to clear up. I got it, but I felt like she was just saying that to me to get me to buy the product.
These were my scars 4 weeks ago. These were my scars from last week.
To be honest, I don't really feel like it worked, but then again, I didn't feel like it would. It's mainly used for younger looking skin, not getting rid of acne scars. I do have to say that my skin is softer when I wake up.
The reason I bought it was to get rid of my scars (it has enriched stem cells that should renew skin cells which would lead to the fading of scars) so for that I would give it a 2 out of 10.
For softer, healthier skin, I would give it a 7 out of 10.

I want to apologize for the low quality pictures, I couldn't find the right lighting. I had been eyeing this in Sephora for a couple weeks and finally got my hands on it. So this is the La Belle Carousel by Too Faced, a value of $49, originally $282. A complete steal!
The packaging was beautiful, I really didn't want to mess it up. But I eventually opened it. This pack comes with 2 blushes, 2 bronzers, 12 eye shadows, and Better then Sex mascara. It also comes with a small, fold out, paper with 4 how-to looks. All the colors are great holiday colors, everything is highly pigmented. I tried two looks and have to say I am extremely happy with this. The eye shadows were easy to apply, the bronzers looked great, and the blush wasn't too heavy. The mascara is amazing of course, this is my second bottle. I would definitely recommend this to others!
Something really nice about this packaging is that you can give each individual piece away as a gift, you can give away the whole thing, you can keep something and give away what you don't want. It's very nice for the holidays, not just for your looks, but for gifts as well (:

I failed at #Blogtober, and I've had such a chaotic couple of weeks that I never got around to posting :/
This is a review of a product if the title hasn't told you that already...
I normally use coconut oil for my hair so I was hesitant to use this. When something works, I'm scared that changing it will have longe term damage, but I saw many great reviews about Argan oil.
So, I spritzed a little bit into my hair to give it a shine, and it was amazing. My hair was soft and the tangles came right out. The smell was great...
Until the next day, when my hair smelled (and looked like I hadn't washed it for several days) like I hadn't washed it in weeks. It was definitely unexpected and unpleasant, but mostly embarrassing since I didn't have the time to wash my hair before my classes.
The second time I used it, I was sure to only spray a little bit. This time, I sprayed it on the underside of my hair right after I washed it. I have really weird hair where the underside are big curly chunks of hair and the tips are a little wavy, the rest is straight. I brushed my hair after spraying it and once it dried, I went to go put my hair in a bun. I was surprised that my curly weirdness was replaced by gentle waves! Definitely a plus, as long as I don't spray too much. There wasn't any lingering smell the next day, and I was happy.
On a scale of 1-10, I would rate it as a 7.5. I would recommend it to a friend, but I would also let them know of the weird smell. (maybe it's just my hair)

HAPPY OCTOBER! I was going to do an October post until I remembered that I did a fall post last week and it would have been repetitive :/
I have driven by this place so many times in the last year and I finally went there! I never really had bundt cakes before until now so I have very little previous knowledge of them.
When I first went in, I thought it was the cutest little bakery. The cashier was extremely friendly, she even told us to try some samples. I got a red velvet to play it safe, but there were MANY more.
The bag was a simple brown bag which was sealed with a sticker with the shop's logo. Not too decorated or amazing, which wouldn't make me look twice at it if someone was carrying it. The cake on the other hand was extremely cute!
It was a little pricey, considering Corner Bakery was two stores down and their bundt cakes were two dollars and some cents were as this one cost me about five dollars.
Looking past the price, the cake was flavorful, the icing was creamy, both melted in my mouth a little. I will definitely go back when I have the chance!!
If you have a Nothing Bundt Cakes around where you live, definitely check it out!

Does anyone else think that is a ridiculously long name? Anyways, last week I lied. I bought this last weekend and forgot about it which is weird since I used it the whole week.
Since I'm not a fan of lip gloss and I don't have any lip sticks (I need to go shopping), I've been looking for a good lip product. Chap stick is dandy and all, but it gets boring. Even Baby Lips (sorry).
I found this lovely product when searching in my local Walmart for facial products. I was happy to find it because I've been looking for fall lip colors and nude colors, plus it helps that I enjoy lip stains like this.
This is definitely a great alternative to any lip product. It is super pigmented, long lasting, and moisturizing. The lip tint aspect comes in when it does wear off because it leaves the color on your lips so it seems like you're still wearing it. It has a slight shine to it creating a subtle lip gloss affect. One of my favorite things about this is the scent: it has a subtle vanilla scent which isn't too strong.
My only concern is when it does wear off, it leaves a slightly brighter color on your lips. My small complaint.
Other than that, I do enjoy this product and will buy more the next time I go to Walmart. It's only $5 for one which is such a great deal. The one I currently have is called Not An Illusion (took me forever to find the name).
